After the release of Hollow Knight: Silksong, I got back into the original Hollow Knight and, whilst I had a pretty bad headcold, I simply had the thought "what if Little Ghost won the birthplace climb". As I was ill I couldn't really do much, so I started to develop this idea, eventually becoming my first ever AU!
